What I found in practice was duplicati did not create stable/dependable backups, and the internet interruptions eventually caused a fuck up somewhere. I was attracted to duplicati because it appeared to have flexible backup triggers, and a robust way to deal with inconsistent internet access. We don't have a proper corporate setup for some reason. I tried out duplicati several months ago, hoping to come up with setup that I could apply to my very non-technical co-workers laptops and would require zero activity on their part. Just make sure to tag the post with the flair and give a little background info/context. On Fridays we'll allow posts that don't normally fit in the usual data-hoarding theme, including posts that would usually be removed by rule 4: “No memes or 'look at this '”
